The city of Piran will be home to the new Euro-Mediterranean University, covering the entire Mediterranean region. Piran is no longer just a historical or tourist city, but will become a centre of learning – the University Centre for Euro-Mediterranean Studies. More info at: www.emuni.si.
The Portorož Piran Poster Awards competition 2008
Create a poster on the topic that Piran is also a Euro-Mediterranean University city, impress the jury and the audience, and capture the award! You may enter with an unlimited number of posters. Poster format -city light: 116 x 174 cm.
In the creation of your poster you may use the IPAK Images database as an inspiration for your creative work. Visit their picture platform at www.ipak.si, where you will find more than 20 million photos to choose from. If you find an image that will help you to put your ideas to reality, you may use it for the purpose of this contest.
Awards
The author of the best poster will receive 5.000 EUR from the Municipality of Piran, two full registrations for the Golden Drum Festival and accommodation for two people for five nights from the Piran Portorož Tourist Board.
The authors of the second- and third-ranked posters will each receive two full registrations for the Golden Drum Festival and accommodation for two people for five nights from the Piran Portorož Tourist Board.
All shortlisted posters will be exhibited in the beautiful Tartini Square in Piran from October 5th to 11th.
The Deadline for the Portorož Piran Poster Competition is the 26th of August, 2008.
