CaterWings is reinventing the B2B catering industry by placing the high demands of corporate clients first – London will act as pilot market to be launched on October 5th.
CaterWings is the next generation marketplace for catering services, tapping into a €36bn global market and capitalising on the global trends of on-demand, convenience and flexibility.
CaterWings is building out a network of caterers to offer time-saving, high quality solutions for B2B catering needs.
“The catering market is ripe for disruption after thirty years of no innovation and low focus on customer experience and satisfaction. With CaterWings, quality catering ordering will be as easy as listening to music and surfing the Web. We will facilitate the corporate food ordering process end-to-end. While CaterWings ensures on-time delivery and quality, the customer can focus on their actual work. Once registered, submitting an order will only take a few seconds. CaterWings handles the rest” says Alexander Brunst, one of the Co-Founders and Managing Directors.
Together with Sebastian Kloss, CaterWings has a well experienced managing team looking back at multiple years of experience in B2B sales, entrepreneurship and process efficiency. “We are ready to build an industry changing marketplace experience with strong focus on facilitating and streamlining the entire process from ordering to delivering and expense reporting. Our strong and highly motivated team based in Berlin and London is ready to deliver an unparalleled platform with full focus on the demands of our corporate clients” says Sebastian.
CaterWings’ revenue model will be commission fee based at no additional cost for the customer. Prices will remain the same compared to ordering with the catering service directly. CaterWings agrees on a commission with the Catering partners for taking over tasks not directly linked with what they do best: preparing the best food for our customers.
CaterWings is picking up a proven concept from the US, where the recent success stories of and investments in B2B catering portals have been substantial. Together with the existing food delivery models in the Rocket Internet universe, CaterWings is the missing puzzle piece in the corporate world. Leveraging the knowledge and assets within Rocket Internet, CaterWings is thriving on strong synergies with other ventures.
London will be the first market for CaterWings’ industry changing service, with some of the market-leading caterers already signed. The go-live on October 5th, www.caterwings.co.uk will introduce a new standard for corpoate food ordering in Europe.
