Tom Bernardin, CEO Leo Burnett Worldwide, announced the establishment of the Global Management Council (GMC), the body responsible for shaping Leo Burnett's global growth strategy with particular emphasis on key markets.
Jarek Ziębiński, Chairman & CEO Leo Burnett CEE, will be the only representative of Central and Eastern Europe at the GMC. Additionally, region managed by Ziębiński will be expanded. Previously, the CEE region covered 11 countries including Russia and Poland, the largest markets in this part of Europe. As of January 2007 CEE region managed by Ziębiński will be covering also the Baltic countries: Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Jarek Ziębiński will still be based in his home office at Leo Burnett Warsaw.
