Aneta Bogdan’s book now available to a global audience
Singapore, 29th March 2018. The international edition of Branding on the Eastern Front — by Aneta Bogdan, Managing Partner of Brandient – was launched in Singapore on March 28, 2018. The launch event held at the design-awarded The Warehouse Hotel gathered Brandient’s business partners and friends, DesignSingapore Council representatives and exponents of local businesses — with the kind and active participation of His Excellency Mr. Florin Tacu, the Ambassador of Romania to Singapore. The hardcover book is now available for global sales on Amazon.
Published initially in Romanian in 2010, with a foreword by Wally Olins, Branding on the Eastern Front is a practitioner’s candid account of the assimilation and development of brands and branding in post-communist Eastern Europe. The Brand Consultant is a new occupation in the emerging world, and Aneta Bogdan has been a pioneer in times when the existing Western principles of branding were being tried and tested on new grounds.
The book is a premier Eastern view on the debate around the transformative power of branding, including relevant case studies, and an insight into the emergent corporate and entrepreneurial milieus.
Ultimately, Branding on the Eastern Front is both a testimony of how Western-born approaches must adapt to developing economies, as well as a crash course in branding for anyone with the slightest interest in the Eastern, emerging parts of the world — be they entrepreneurs, marketers, or contemporary consumers of any kind.
