Presentation at Golden Drum Festival – October 7
Slovenian Tourist Organization, Bank of Tourism Potentials in Slovenia (BTPS), University for Tourism Portoroz – Turistica and University for Management Koper gathered together and prepared a set of challenges focused on Innovative Marketing for Green Tourism. Clients are progressive Slovenian tourist companies presented below.
BTPS Challenges offer the power of young people, end-users and experts to all tourism related organizations. The goal of this international tender is to collect concrete solution and with their implementation get an improved experience of customers, tourists, companies and nature. Deadline for the solutions is 22nd September 2010. Winners will be chosen by a special jury. Winning projects will be awarded and presented on 7th October 2010 at 17th advertising festival Golden Drum.
CHALLENGE #1 – Kompas Novo mesto
Packaging and promotion of green tourism.
PRIZE: Organisation of an unforgettable day on the river Krka (for 30 people) and/or 5-day package in the Dolenjska cottage (4 people)
CHALLENGE #2 – Vivo Catering
Solutions for the most innovative "eco catering".
PRIZE: Dinner served (8 people) according to the protocol for British Queen Elizabeth II.
CHALLENGE #3 – Bohinj Park EKO Hotel
Marketing of the first Slovene eco-hotel.
PRIZE: Rich weekend package for two people at Bohinj Park EKO Hotel
CHALLENGE #4 – Adriatic2Alps.com
In the search of tourists – lovers of great photography.
PRIZE: Participation in a photography workshop, worth 300 EUR

Marketing of the honey story in tourism.
PRIZE: Rich weekend package for two people at Hotel Wellness Park Laško
CHALLENGE #6 – Humanitas
Responsible tourism implementation.
PRIZE: 3-day accommodation in Kafuli association in Burkina Faso, Africa + 3 workshops
CHALLENGE #7 – Postojnska jama
Promotion of world tourist attraction.
PRIZE: "VIP visit" of the world tourist attraction (incl. parts of the cave not open to general public)
