Honda Europe (spare parts division of Honda Motor Europe) honoured General Automotive S.A., the Authorised Importer-Distributor of Honda Cars in Greece and a Member of Saracakis Group of Companies, for the growth it has achieved in the After-Sales business and particularly in the Parts Department, in a special ceremony held at the corporate facilities in Athens.
The "Car Parts Effective Management & Development" Award was presented to the Executive Vice-President of General Automotive S.A. company, Mr Ioannis D. Saracakis by Mr James Goodlife, Parts Unit Manager, Honda Europe NV.
While accepting the award, Mr John D. Saracakis commented: "this distinction is a great honour for all of us. It is a recognition of our efforts to keep our customers’ enthusiasm high, even after the purchase of their car. For this reason I would like to congratulate all my partners in the Car Parts Department, who have embraced our initiatives with great enthusiasm and contributed actively to the enhancement of our Group’s image and its services.
In the After-sales business and especially in the Car Parts Department, we have made progress in the use of modern and specialised information systems, the development and application of new processes for parts logistics and handling, as well as in the introduction of new products. These measures led to the growth of our customers´ levels of satisfaction after the purchase of their car.
We believe that this global distinction among all individual importers-distributors of Honda cars will be a catalyst for the further improvement of services provided to our customers".
