Ford today announced “Drive to Wembley” – the biggest-ever UEFA Champions League Final ticket giveaway in the history of the prestigious football tournament.
Ford is offering football fans from 27 countries in Europe the chance to win 360 tickets for the UEFA Champions League Final that takes place on May 25, at Wembley Stadium, in London. Each one of 90 winners will win tickets for four people, as well as accommodation, spending money, and flights to the U.K. as required.
Ford, the longest-standing official partner of the UEFA Champions League, is also offering additional entries to the competition that launches on March 11 to customers that test-drive a new Kuga at a Ford dealership. The smart utility vehicle will be shown in TV adverts during UEFA Champions League matches; on LED perimeter boards; and across digital media.
“This competition offers a money-can’t-buy opportunity to witness first-hand the biggest football event in Europe this year,” said Roelant de Waard, vice president, Marketing, Sales & Service, Ford of Europe. “It is also a chance for customers to find out exactly how good our smart utility vehicle – the new Kuga – really is.”
Now on sale, the new Kuga is the centrepiece of Ford’s strategy to expand in the fast-growing European SUV market and offers a surprising array of features and technologies, including Ford’s intelligent All-Wheel Drive system; a segment first hands-free tailgate that operates with a gentle kicking motion; and Ford SYNC with Emergency Assistance.
Ford, an official partner and official vehicle supplier to the UEFA Champions since the inaugural 1992/93 season, will provide new Kuga models for use as support transport at the final; the competition is open for entries at www.DriveToWembley.com from March 11 until April 15.
