Days after announcing series of acquisitions in Asia, Middle East region targeted as next high growth region for food delivery
Global online food delivery company foodpanda today announces that is has fully acquired food delivery business 24h.ae in the Middle East, targeting the region as next high growth market in the food delivery sector.
24h.ae is active in the United Arab Emirates. The company provides the most convenient way to order food in seven cities: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaima. 24h.ae was founded in 2011 and will continue with the current management and team, as well as the strong 24h-brand it has developed over the years. It currently cooperates with more than 700 restaurant partners, including major brands like Subway, Wendy’s , Domino’s, Johnny Rockets, and Pizza Express.
foodpanda is already active in Saudi Arabia and Jordan with its hellofood.sa and hellofood.jo brands, respectively.
